Lucky Dragon operated under Nevada gaming regulations during its brief period of operation. However, the casino faced financial difficulties and closed its gaming operations in January 2018, less than two years after opening[1]. The property later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection[3].
During its operation, Lucky Dragon received mixed reviews. Some visitors appreciated its unique Asian theme and intimate atmosphere. However, the casino struggled to attract its target audience of Asian gamblers and local Asian-American customers[1]. The property's challenging location and limited amenities compared to larger Strip resorts were often cited as drawbacks.
As with all licensed Nevada casinos, Lucky Dragon was required to adhere to responsible gaming practices during its operation. This typically includes providing resources for problem gambling, enforcing age restrictions, and offering self-exclusion programs. However, due to its closure, current information on specific responsible gaming measures is not available.
